Our Home
Sladen is a large detached Victorian family home set in stunning surroundings with spectacular views.
Although much of the house is in need of a little updating it retains many original features and is full of character. It is a lively house, made so by its energetic and enthusiastic owners and their three young children together with Pip the English Springer Spaniel.
You are guaranteed a warm welcome and attentive service. There is a good selection of local pubs and restaurants in the village a few minutes walk away.
The accommodation comprises of:
Guest en-suite bedroom
This is a large room with double aspect windows and very high ceilings. It has a zip and link bed so that guests may choose two 3ft single beds or to have them made up as a 6ft super-king size bed with respective linen. There are fitted wardrobes and bedside tables.
There is an en-suite with bath and shower over, washbasin, WC and bidet.
The other side of the en-suite is a connecting door to a separate twin bedded room. This is ideal for families who do not mind sharing a bathroom in between bedrooms.
Middle guest bedroom
This is a large double room with a 4ft 6in bed. There is space for a spare bed for twin occupancy. The bathroom has been completely refurbished with bath, separate shower cubicle, washbasin and WC. It is for the exclusive use of guests but is along the corridor.
There is a sitting room for guests use – it is a large room with open fire on the ground floor.
